Gulsum writes. So does her grand daughter!

Proud to introduce on my blog,  my grand daughter Maysa. She is a budding writer. And she is all of 9 years old!

This is her first long-story. The drawings to go with the story are by her mother Mariam, another creative lady in our family.

  2. Brilliant! God bless the child and her grandmother. Or, as we say in Portugal, Deus te abençoe! I read the story and can predict that we will soon have a young JK Rowlings in this blog. Hearty congratulations to the parents and of course the proud grandmother

  4. You certainly have a talented grand daughter. What a lovely story, I enjoyed reading it. isn’t amazing how she plugged in all those suspense pages and still concluded it eventually with ‘home sweet home?’ Sweet!

  5. Thanks mum for sharing Maysa’s book – the mother and the father had a part in the book – mum the artist – dad the geek who did the computer work and submitted to Apple !!!!

  6. What a great story, Maysa! I had trouble finding it at first, because my computer was a bit too old. I like the way they got stuck! And then it had a happy ending. I knew it would have a happy ending! The drawings are really great. You are very lucky to have such a talented mother and grandmother. Keep writing! We want to read more!
